The nCounter® Analysis System is an automated, multi-application, digital detection and counting system which directly profiles up to 800 molecules simultaneously from a single sample using a novel barcoding technology. Profile hundreds of mRNAs, microRNAs, or DNA targets simultaneously with high sensitivity and precision. The system uses single-molecule imaging to detect and count hundreds of unique transcripts in a single reaction. Unlike other methods, the protocol does not include any amplification steps that might introduce bias to the results.

OSTR has negotiated a pricing schedule for NanoString Code Sets: View Price List. Also, OSTR will provide a 50% subsidy to be used toward the purchase of off-the-shelf Gene Panels or custom-designed Code Sets.
