To All CCR-Sequencing Facility Users:

As the end of the fiscal year 2021 approaches, we would like to assist you in making sure your sequencing projects are handled expeditiously.  Our goal is to make a seamless year-end process, and we rely on your cooperation.  Please use the following guidelines in planning sample submission before the close of this fiscal year:

  • If you would like to be billed this fiscal year, the last day to submit samples to CCR Sequencing Facility (CCR-SF) is Monday, August 16, 2021
  • Because of the large number of samples, we receive and process at the end of the fiscal year, we will not be able to complete your project and bill you this fiscal year if your samples fail QC.  Therefore, please make sure you QC all your samples before sending them to us to ensure that they meet our minimum sample requirements.
  • Please be sure to include the reference genome and version information in the sample manifest form. Once you receive a data delivery notice from SF Bioinformatics group, please download the data files as soon as possible since storage space is limited, and we have a large volume of data to distribute.
  • We cannot roll over funds associated with NAS requests from one fiscal year to the next.

Consequently, if you have any open NAS requests with us, and we haven’t received your samples on or before August 16th, we will have to cancel your NAS request.
