The Department of Bioethics offers consultation, collaboration, and education to intramural researchers and extramural program officers. The members of the Department are available to:
- Consult with investigators on ethical questions or concerns related to the design and/or conduct of research
- Analyze emerging issues in bioethics
- Collaborate on research assessing a wide range of issues in bioethics
- Conduct and collaborate on empirical research to relevant to important issues in research ethics or bioethics more generally
- Provide education and training on bioethics
