Overview

The NCI Clinical Research Correlatives Core provides non-CLIA-certified spectral flow cytometric assays to support clinical trials conducted in the CCR. The core specializes in immunophenotyping and immune monitoring assays.

Established Technologies

Services offered include:
  • assistance with the experimental design
  • assay development/panel optimization
  • sample processing and preparation
  • sample acquisition
  • data analysis

Immunoprofiling assays offered include:

“a la carte” CYTEK expandable antibody panels:

  • 25 color immunoprofiling panel
  • 20 color AML Panel
  • 14 color immunoprofiling panel
  • 13 color B cell monitoring kit
  • Pan leukocyte panel
  • 8 color T cell/B cell/Monocyte/NK cell
  • MDSC (Myeloid Derived Suppressor Cells) panel
  • 16 color NK panel
  • T cell panel (arriving soon)

Custom panels (e.g. CAR T monitoring panel)

Major Instrumentation

  • Cytek Aurora Spectral Analyzers – 355nm, 405nm, 488nm, 561nm, and 628nm lasers
  • Cytek Aurora Spectral Cell Sorter (same configuration as analyzers above; operated by Bill Telford at the NCI Research Flow Core)

User Guidelines

The core facility hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday-Friday.
