Overview

The National Clinical Trials Network Biospecimen Banks (NCTN) receive, store, and distribute human cancer biospecimens collected on NCTN clinical trials. NCTN Biobanks provide cancer researchers with quality, well-annotated biospecimens and associated clinical information. The NCTN Biobanks house solid tumor biospecimens from all organ sites, as well as hematological malignancy specimens.

  1. Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue
  2. Fresh frozen tissue

User Guidelines

To search and access “legacy” biospecimens from completed trials, ALL INVESTIGATORS are asked to please visit the NCTN Navigator or NCTN Biospecimen Banks.
Requests for NCTN Biospecimens from completed NCTN clinical trials may be submitted by investigators in the research community, not only members of the NCTN Groups.
